Itinerary

DAY 1     TUESDAY ….     ARRIVE AT BASE

Once you have settled in there will be a welcome reception at the four star Elliot Hotel at 8.30pm.

DAY 2     WEDNESDAY…Tarifa Area (Bird-watching) 

Birds of sea and estuary and raptors and storks (during migration period) as     well as birds of the hills and shrubland.

DAY 3     THURSDAY … Bolonia, La Janda and Zahara. (Bird-watching)

Birds of estuary, lagoons and marshland including some shrub and hills.

DAY 4     FRIDAY….. Coto de Doñana. (Bird-watching).

Birds of marsh, river and estuary.

DAY  5    SATURDAY ...... Rest Day. 

You can go shopping or sight-seeing. You may want to go on a sea trip to watch dolphins if you are the active type or visit the many places of interest that Gibraltar has to offer. We will provide you with the relevant information with your welcome packs.

DAY 6      SUNDAY……. Laguna del Comisario, Laguna de Medina, El Aljibe and the sierra around Alcala de los Gazules. (Bird-watching)                 

Birds of lagoons, scrub and mountain

DAY  7    MONDAY ... The Rock of Gibraltar. (Bird-watching).

At the right time of year we will search for nocturnal species.

Sea watch and/or raptors. Barbary Partridge and Barbary Macaques.

DAY 8     TUESDAY ….  Your return  journey home.
